These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Android app Reference Pin (the “App”), provided by 1UP PixelWorks (“we”, “us”). By installing or using the App, you agree to these Terms.
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on devices you own or control, for your own personal or business use, subject to these Terms.
You agree not to: reverse engineer or decompile the App except as permitted by law; use the App to pin or display unlawful content; circumvent or tamper with the App's purchase/entitlement system; or use the App in a way that violates applicable law.
The App offers a free tier (limited number of saved pins) and optional paid “Pro” features (e.g. unlimited pins, PDF pinning) unlocked via a monthly subscription or a one-time lifetime purchase. All payments are processed by Google Play Billing. Subscription price, billing frequency, and renewal terms are shown in the app and on the Google Play Store listing before purchase. You can manage or cancel a subscription at any time from the Google Play Store's subscription settings. Feature availability under the free and Pro tiers may change in future versions; where reasonably possible we will notify you of material reductions to features you have already purchased.
Because purchases are processed by Google Play, refund requests are handled under Google Play's refund policy. You may also contact us at the email below and we will assist where we can.
The App's floating-window feature relies on Android's “display over other apps” and background-execution permissions. Behavior can vary by device manufacturer and Android version, and some manufacturers apply additional background restrictions outside of our control. We do our best to support common devices but do not guarantee identical behavior on every device.
The App is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, 1UP PixelWorks shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
We may suspend or discontinue the App or any feature at any time. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
